Good Evening Rob,
An up-date for you.. the package was still showing on the internet that it was held up at the airport near Paris. The reality was it arrived safely to-day. When I mentioned this, our lovely post lady shrugged and said it was the holiday season in France!
I opened your beautifully packed parcel, installed the bits per our telephone conversation and Jofs MX5 started first time. Considering the car had been standing for nearly eighteen months, having been shunted from one so called professional garage to another, and it finally took a group of amateurs on a forum to work out a solution, where the so called Mazda franchised garages could only look on and scratch themselves, I would say that was a bloody good effort!
Thanks very much for all your trouble. Having spent most of my working life in the motor trade I get very uneasy when people say I guarantee that something will work but in your case you were spot on, a really good job done, thank you.

subject BPU2A ecu deomb set
Yes, the garage fitted it and I collected the car on Monday.
Thank you very much for your help with this and interest. Its good to know that these sorts of parts are available. I had visions at one stage that car would have to go to the breakers yard! The car is a Gleneagles having only done just under 50k miles and is generally in very good condition having been always garaged.
If in need anything in the future I now now where to come.

package arrived today which was fine , garage fitted it and I picked it up at 6.00. Drove it home and all appears ok. Total cost £100 + 70 to fit £170. Mazda dealer was looking £540 to supply and fit!

Hi Rob,
The CAS was replaced yesterday, afterwards I disconnected the battery for 5min, reconnected and drove it for half an hour, then retested for error codes, came up clear, so, hopefully the problem is solved.
Thank you for your help, and now I know where to go for parts!

Hello there,just want to say thanks for the quality of transaction for the cat I ordered. Phoned you on a Thursday at 5.30 and it was delivered to me in Scotland about 1 oclock the next day, great service. Mechanic was surprised at price and build quality of the cat.

The sensor arrived safely this morning. When it stops raining I will nip out and fit it. Hopefully that will extinguish the lambda light on the dash.

Super service ordered online after leaving work 13/11/07 at about 4pm arived next day before 1pm packed well and all bits present. Price well I used a parts finder service who could only find 2nd user parts at a higher price than new.

The quality of the grille is very good, and fitting it was extremely easy (much more so than I had anticipated!). It took all of about 5 minutes!!
